Step 1: Make Sure Your Activity is a Scored Assessment

  1. Select Curriculum in the left panel.

  1. Navigate to the page you want to have scoring in. Select the dropdown arrow in its row and select Options.

  2. In the page options, make sure your activity is a Scored Assessment. Select it from the dropdown if it’s not!

  1. Select Save.

Step 2: Add Scoring to Your Activity’s Screens

  1. Go to Screen Panel view.

  1. Select the screen you want to add scoring to. Select the Screen tab in the right panel.

  1. At the bottom of that panel is the Max Score, which defaults to zero. Change it to the points for that screen.

Each time the learner tries, the possible score goes down. The total points are divided by the number of allowed attempts.

For example, if the max score is 6 and the max attempts is 3:

No points are awarded if they don’t get it right within the allowed attempts.

  1. At any time, you can check the Scoring Overview to see where points have been added. Select the star in the top panel to access it.

  2. In the overview, you can also set a Lesson Max score to cap the points.
