What are asynchronous digital trainings?

These are interactive, adaptive activities that you can do on your own at your own pace on your computer! Infiniscope hosts these lessons in a platform called Torus.

How do I start a training?

Here are the steps to get into an asynchronous lesson. Please use Chrome as your browser.

  1. Join Infiniscope. (If you already have an Infiniscope account, skip step 1 and go on to step 2). ****Before doing any of the modules, you need to sign up to be an Infiniscope member if you’re not one, so you can have access to the tools during the training. Just complete this form. It takes just a minute!

    1. Check your email. This may take a day for the admin to approve your request. (Don’t attempt to log in until you receive confirmation!)
  2. Sign in to Infiniscope.org

  3. Open the Tools menu next to the profile icon.

Each asynchronous training will contain different content. Here’s an example of what you may see: Two trainings but each has multiple parts. To start the first training, the first thumbnail would be selected.

  2. Select Begin Attempt!

  3. Surveys will be peppered throughout the modules to collect your thoughts and feedback. We’re actively tweaking things to make it better – so your feedback will help a lot of folks.

  4. You are finished when you reach the big teal checkmark! You can then go to the next part (if there is one) or take a break and come back later!
