Some Simple Author training sessions use demos or examples. You can request your own copy of these so you can experiment with the structure, components, and features as you get familiar with Simple Author from the instructor side.

How to Find the Support Training Item

1. Go to infiniscope.org and sign in.

2. Then you will either…

   1. Use a given link that will take you to the resource (then skip down to step 3)
      1. If you are looking for the Simple Author Training Demo Pack, here is the link: https://infiniscope.org/content/44
   2. Or search for the Simple Author resource…

      1. Search for the resource in the search bar (like “Training” or “Demo”).

         

      2. You’ll see a list of training items. Select the one you want. In this example, the Simple Author Training Demo Pack is chosen here.

         

      3. Select View Details.

3. Now you’ll be on the resource page. Scroll all the way to the bottom and select Customize to get started.

   

4. This will take you to the Customizing Content page. Follow the directions to create a Torus authoring account and request your copy.

5. You will receive an email when your copy is ready with an invitation to collaborate. Accept the invitation and you will arrive at the Torus overview page of YOUR COPY of that lesson. You can edit and play in it as you wish!

   1. Select Create and Curriculum over to the left to jump into the pages. We recommend exploring the examples and experimenting with them. (Each demo is paired with an Infiniscope training, so it might be more helpful to wait until you're in the training to dive in. But feel free to check them out early if you're curious!)
