Make sure you are logged in to Course Author first (Logging into Simple Author)

  1. Click + New Project in the top right. A project can house one or more lessons.

  2. Name your project (you can change this later) and select Create.

  1. Select Create from the left menu bar.
    1. Feel free to fill out details on the Overview page if you want! You can always come back and do this later.

  1. Then select Curriculum.

  1. Now to add a lesson to your project, select Adaptive - Practice.
    1. You can also choose Adaptive - Scored if you want a scored assignment.

  1. Select Edit Page.

  2. Type a title for your lesson and click Next.

  1. Select Simple Authoring and click Next.

  1. Select Landscape and click Next.

  2. Click Open in Edit Mode.

Now you have a blank lesson that you can turn into an engaging, digital experience!
