What is Starting with Simple Author on-your-own digital lesson?

In four mini-trainings, you can learn the basics of Simple Author to create an engaging lesson you can immediately use to introduce yourself, your course, or your program to others!

Each module will be less than 15 minutes to do if you aren’t building along or 15 to 60 minutes if you are building along, which we hope you’ll want to do!

How do I start the training?

Here are the steps to get into the Starting with Simple Author on-your-own digital lesson. Please use Chrome as your browser.

1. [Skip of you have an Infiniscope account!] Join Infiniscope. Before doing any of the modules, you need to sign up to be an Infiniscope member if you’re not one, so you can have access to the tools during the training. Just complete this form. It takes just a minute!

   1. Check your email. This may take a day for the admin to approve your request. (Don’t attempt to log in until you receive confirmation!)

2. Once confirmed, sign in to Infiniscope.org

3. Open the Tools menu next to the profile icon.

   

4. Select Argos.

1. Open this link - https://app.argos.education/sections/join/st2yp (or https://app.argos.education/sections/join/xz5kn)
2. Enroll in the course. (And confirm you are not a robot!)
3. Select Open for the module you want. (You may need to go to the Learn section in the upper left if it’s not immediately visible.)
4. Select Start Attempt and go through that module!
5. You are finished with Module 1 when you reach the big teal checkmark! You can then go to Module 2 or take a break and come back later!

I’ve already started the training, how do I jump back in?

1. Sign in to Infiniscope.org on a Chrome browser.

2. Open the Tools menu next to the profile icon.

   

3. Select Argos.
